Spend an inspiring weekend with author and founder of Red Bee Honey, Marina Marchese and her team learning basic beekeeping practices beginning with setting up your first hive to honey harvesting. Learn all about honey, its floral sources and how to taste like a pro. Then you will learn how to creating your own luscious lotions and potions using ingredients any kitchen apothecary. No experience is necessary, just curiosity, a creative spirit and a love of home made goodness. You will be treated to a light vegetarian lunch using estate grown vegetables, herbs, eggs, honey and the best local ingredients. If you have special dietary request, please let us know we will do our best to accommodate you. Workshop fee is $300.00, which covers all supplies to make and decorate natural products plus copies of all the recipes. Travel, accommodations and dinners not included. Red Bee Apiary is one hour outside of NYC.

Lovely Weston is located in Fairfield County Connecticut. There are many shops and restaurants as well as art galleries and hiking trails nearby. Red Bee Apiary is less than 10 miles from the beaches along the Long Island sound. If you are traveling from out of town here are a few resources to make your trip easier. Let us know if you will be in the area for an extended period of time, we can suggest local visits of interest for you.
