Deeply inspired by botanicals, the natural world and a love of color and pattern, Carla Marina is an author, illustrator, product designer is the visionary behind the Red Bee brand. She has developed products for William Sonoma, The Tree House, White Flower Farm and has licensed her designs for stationary, journals and home furnishings. Her botanical watercolors grace the pages of her second book, The Honey Connoisseur. Carla Marina's work has appeared in Victoria Magazine, Women's Wear Daily and appeared on the cover of American Bee Journal. She is a graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Marina's previous career as an illustrator and product designer plays an important role in her aesthetics as a honey entrepreneur. Her passion for design and pattern inspired her botanical watercolors which grace the pages in the second edition of her book The Honey Connoisseur. She graduated from The School of Visual Arts in NYC.
